Well, I'm jumping in a year early, but damn is it worth it! Normally it's a 3-year cycle of me upgrading computers. But this time around, I just couldn't pass up a great computer. Lately, I've been using my archaiac laptop more than my desktop. I still used the desktop (Quad core, 4GB RAM, rediculous 5.9 across the vista board gaming machine hooked to the big screen), but the old Celeron 1.4Ghz processor XP laptop was wearing on my nerves. It was great when all I did was fix other computers with it, but laptops are becoming my life.

The old:
Alienware Sentia 12.1" 223 Celeron processor, 1.5Gb RAM, 40GB HD



Enter the new:
Alienware M11x - Core2duo, 4Gb RAM, 320Gb HD, AT&T mobile broadband built in, soon to dual boot Hackintosh, and one PIMP lighting system. Oh, and the hardware switchable graphics card is pretty sweet too! 8 hours of battery life is good on the flight to Boston to visit the GF, or any computer job I might come across outside work. And the gaming graphics will soon be very tested

So, and you can ask Morth, it's pretty sweet. Smallest Alienware ever made, but still jam packed with features. And it doesn't sound like a leafblower! Albeit very small, fits exactly what I was looking for. I'll try and bring it to the next big party for those that might wanna check it out.

Looks like I finally found the Overclock option in the BIOS. Kinda weird, you either select "Overclock" or "Normal".

Here's the windows experience with the chip OC'd to 1.73Ghz (From 1.3):



Not too shabby for alienware's interpretation of a "Netbook"!
