reinstalling wow

I am reinstalling wow and am not sure if i need the discs for burning crusade, i have managed to lose mine, so plz can someone tell me if i have to have the disks or does blizz put it on there after i log in or something?

I needed the disks when I reinstalled recently so yes I believe you do need them.

If you can't locate the discs, you can download the BC client from Blizzard at http://www.worldofwa...-downloads.html

Does anyone know if you can install the whole series from the new expansion Wrath of the Lich King or do I need to bust out my old CD's from the original and Burning Crusade?

Either bust out the originals, or download the trial from Blizz's website.

Last reinstall I did I just installed original, then Burning Crusade, then WotLK, THEN logged on/patched it. It will patch a couple times, took me a few hours but it was also a really slow computer.

Confirmed. I am downloading all expansions on my laptop as I type. You simply need to go to the WoW website and log into your account. It's one of the options under the Free Services section.

For the record I'm installing the whole game from the Lich King DVD, no downloading needed other then the newest patches from 3.0 on. So next time you guys reinstall just slap in that nice blue dvd and let it go.
